1861-1872
Jose Rizal's education started all the way to his mother, Rizal's first instructor was his own mother Teodora Alonso Realonda; she taught him to read, and pray, and even motivated him to compose poetry. during his early years he was also later taught Spanish and Latin by his private tutors. He was also assigned to a private school in Binan which was the start of his formal education.

At this time Rizal began his secondary schooling at the Ateneo Municipal De Manila. He took philosophy,physics,chemistry, and natural history, he also received top grades in his secondary years. He read books and composed poetry that made him win awards. While in his secondary years he developed longtime hobbies such as drawing, painting, and clay modeling.
Ang pag-ibig sa bayan ay hindi nasusukat sa oras ng kalamidad, kundi sa araw-araw na pagtuturing at pagtupad sa ating mga tungkulin.
1877-1882
Rizal eventually graduated from Ateneo Municipal with a degree in land surveying and appriasal while studying philosophy and letters at the University of Santo tomas, which he took medicine as his course. At this period of time he went to europe to study for Licentiate in Philosophy and Letters and Opthamoloy at the Universidad Central de Madrid

1882-1884
After rizal finished his studies in hid medical course, he started to travel around europe and asia. The very first country he visited at that time was spain followed by singapore,ceylon, italy, france, barcelona in spain, paris, madrid and so many more.

1884-1887
during this period of time in the Universidad Central de Madrid, where he also studied philosophy and literature. Rizal obtained licentiate in medicine. He had the idea for Noli Me Tangere while he was in madrid. He alsostudied at the University of Paris andfinished his eye-specific training at theUniversity of Heidelberg in 1887. Rizal'spublication of his first book in Berlin alsooccurred in that year as well.

1887-1888
